Responsibilities

Ascension St. Vincent Anderson is looking for a Hematologist / Oncologist. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to partner with Ascension St. Vincent Anderson to provide medical services to patients.

Position Highlights :

2 physicians currently in the practice

The call : 1 : 4.5

Regional call group

Outpatient with inpatient consults

Some of the lowest malpractice rates in the country

Easy and short commute from Carmel, Westfield, Zionsville and Fishers

Responsibilities :

Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.

Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

Accepts patient referrals from other physicians. Acts as admitting, attending and / or consulting

Services include a Level III Trauma Center, mental health and addictions unit, state-of-the-art cancer center, womens center, outpatient surgery center, ambulatory care, and outpatient rehabilitation center.

Ascension St. Vincent Anderson has 150 physicians on the medical staff and more than 1,500 associates. Anderson is located 30 minutes northeast of Indianapolis.
