Job Description

This role is for someone who wants to be a hands-on service engineer and travel to customer sites for work. Responsibilities include installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining large industrial machines such as CNC machines, Punch Presses, and Laser Cutters. Additionally, setting up and installing company software (if needed) and ensuring it works correctly with hardware shipped to the customer facility. Providing customer training and support on how to use these machines is also required. The role involves heavy use of electrical and mechanical diagnostic tools, reading and understanding schematics, and interpreting industrial plant layouts for installed systems.

This position requires 90% travel to customer sites during client system implementations.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of electromechanical field support engineering experience with large industrial machines such as CNC, Punch Presses, Laser Cutters.
• Experience with industrial mechanical / electrical systems implementation, setup, and maintenance.
• Ability to read and work with facility wiring schematics and plant layouts for electrical / mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and MS Project.
• Associate's Degree or trade-school education with mechanical and / or electrical engineering studies. Military training and certification on operating and setting up industrial machines are also acceptable.
