Job Summary
The Thrift Store Clerk reports to the Clothing Services Manager. The Clerk will work with a "Team Leader", other staff as well as volunteers in executing the duties and responsibilities of the Clothing Service department. This position is an hourly position. Work hours are varied to include weekends and nights. The employee assists with the overall accomplishment of the Clothing Service mission outlined in the guiding documents of the Foundation.

Executes the Donation ProcessReplenishes sales floorOperates Point of Sale systemSupports the cleanliness of the Thrift StoreSupports delivery serviceMaintains good customer relationsWorks harmoniously with volunteersServes as Team Leader as requiredOther duties as assignedQualifications
High School Diploma or equivalentExperience in pricingAbility to work with others effectively and efficientlyAbility to work independently with little or no supervisionAbility to implement and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures of the Clothing Services DepartmentAbility to maintain the professional standards as outlined in Employee HandbookRead, write, speak, and understand the English languageAble to work outside in the elements as neededComplete assigned projects to ensure compliance and accuracyAbility to read, count, write, and communicate English clearly and effectivelyUnderstanding of sales techniques and best practices in customer serviceWillingness to work well in a team environmentAbility to quickly and accurately work a registerWillingness to work a flexible schedule
