Product Manager Opportunity

We're looking for a Product Manager to take Pump from a scrappy, high-performing team to a world-class engineering org. We've gone from $0 to $XXM+ ARR in under two years with a lean team of just 9 engineers, and now we need the right leader to help us scale to $XXXM+ ARR and beyond.

Our mission is to automate cloud cost optimization with AI, making human-driven cloud consulting obsolete. Our customers save ~60% on AWS and GCP costs instantly, and Azure. We're growing fast, competing (and winning) against well-funded incumbents, and have built a business that scales efficiently without bloated sales teams or overpriced consultants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tool Proficiency : Use product management tools like Jira, Trello, Aha!, Figma, and data analysis platforms like Looker or Tableau to streamline workflows, manage projects, and visualize data insight.
  • Product Strategy & Roadmap Development : Define and drive the product vision and strategy, aligning with the company's goal of reducing financial costs for businesses. Create and maintain a product roadmap based on market research, customer feedback, and business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to bring products to market, ensuring alignment across all departments for a seamless launch and ongoing product evolution.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making : Leverage analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Agile Product Management : Lead sprint planning, manage backlogs, and oversee the product development lifecycle using agile methodologies to ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.
  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis : Stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and identify strategic opportunities.

Qualifications

  • BA / BS in a technical or analytical field
  • Minimum of either :
  • 5 years of product management experience
  • 3 years of product management experience and 1+ year of experience as an engineer or data (applied) scientist
  • Experience managing software products from ideation to launch - including managing the product vision, day-to-day prioritization, design, and go to market strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers and designers towards a common goal
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to evaluate product decisions and trade-offs while being hyper-focused on delivering value for our customers
  • Comfortable using large datasets and leverage insights to make decisions
  • Benefits

  • 100% medical coverage for you
  • 401k
  • Unlimited PTO
  • Free Weekly Lunch & Dinner in the Office
  • Yearly company-paid team retreats.
  • Developmental Bonuses
