12844 Creek Rd Fannettsburg, PA. Burpee's Willow Hill Greenhouses.

Monday - Friday. 7 : 30am - 4pm

Job Summary :

Our Seasonal Packing Leads play a key role in ensuring that our packing operations run smoothly and efficiently during our busy season. In this role, you will oversee daily packing activities, train team members on proper procedures, and provide guidance on all packaging-related questions and concerns. Packing Leads are expected to set the pace for productivity and accuracy while promoting a safe and clean work environment.

You will also monitor materials and resources to prevent downtime, ensure quality standards are consistently met, and assist with problem-solving on the production floor. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential, as you’ll be coaching individuals and supporting team development while maintaining a positive and motivating atmosphere. This position reports directly to the Shipping Supervisor and works closely with other warehouse and shipping staff to meet deadlines and customer expectations.

Duration :

We offer 2 separate seasons for this role. January through June and then again from August to November.

A great Packing Lead has :

Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, or packing environment.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and guide team members.

Solid communication skills and the ability to address questions or concerns clearly.

Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, quality, and efficiency.

Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and work in a fast-paced seasonal environment.
