Allegheny Health Network (AHN) is building the future in our Imaging Institute by adding several services and locations to the network. The Imaging Institute’s Division of Neuroradiology is recruiting full-time, onsite and
remote neuroradiologists to join our growing team of high-quality, subspecialized neuroradiologists.
Job Duties :
- Provide a full range of diagnostic neuroradiology services to AHN facilities including a Level 1 trauma center, level 2 trauma center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Primary Stroke Centers, and a variety of cancer centers.
- Equipment includes state-of-the art imaging technologies, including recently installed 3T MRIs throughout AHN and a photon-counting CT at our flagship hospital, Allegheny General Hospital.
- AHN utilizes a range of RAPID products for acute stroke imaging. Icometrix was recently employed for imaging of dementia, epilepsy, and multiple sclerosis imaging.
- 24 / 7 MRIs at two hospitals enables therapeutic decision-making for “wake up” strokes.
- Functional MRI at Allegheny General Hospital
- Participate fully in a division which supplies services to 14 hospitals and multiple imaging centers.
- Involvement in clinical and didactic teaching to the residents and medical students is desired.
- Active participation in multidisciplinary conferences.
- Onsite position includes both in-hospital and at-home shifts
- 2 Remote Options :
- Remote Track 1 :
- 7 days on, 7 days off.
- Remote Track 2 :
- 208 shifts, inclusive of 16 weekend shifts.
Job Qualifications :
Certified or eligible for certification by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and Certificate of Added Qualification (CAQ) in NeuroradiologySuccessful completion of fellowship training in neuroradiologyBoard Eligible / Board Certified in RadiologyDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)Participation in Maintenance of Certification or eligibility for such is required.Actively participate in the training program in terms of clinical and didactic teaching to the residents and medical students.Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employmentAHN Proudly Offers
