Neurology Physician

Locums - Neurologist - Petoskey, Michigan

Start Date : January 2026Contract Length : Ongoing

Position Overview

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM

Outpatient Clinic Hours : Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, 1 : 00 PM - 3 : 00 PM (within 8-hour onsite day)

Inpatient Call : 24 / 7 call coverage, starting and ending at 8 : 00 AM

Setting : Inpatient and Outpatient (Hospital & Clinic)

Patient Volume : 6-8 patients per day

Duties : EEG reads (inpatient and outpatient), hospital rounds, and outpatient appointments

Procedures Required :

Radiologic Exam Interpretation

Lumbar Puncture (Spinal Tap)

EEG

Brain Death Examination

Evoked Potentials

EMR : Cerner

Requirements

Board Certification : Neurology - Required (BE not accepted)

Licensure : Active Michigan License - Required

DEA : Active DEA - Required

Certifications : BLS and ACLS - Required (NIH Stroke Scale / tPA Competency - Preferred)
