Job Title : Buffet & Food Runner (Part-Time)

Location : Contra Costa Country Club, Pleasant Hill, CA

Pay : $16.50–$17.00 per hour + service charge

Schedule : Must be available to work weekends

Position Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and energetic Buffet & Food Runner to join our Food & Beverage team at our private country club. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional service to members and guests.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, and breakdown

Run food from kitchen to buffet and / or dining areas promptly and safely

Support bussing duties including clearing tables, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness

Help with event and dining room setup including linens, tableware, and décor

Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout shift

Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations

Provide courteous and professional service to members and guests

Qualifications :

Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred but not required

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand / walk for extended periods

Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset

Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed
