Job Description

As a Security Officer - Access Control Residential in Estero, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As an Access Control Officer at a residential location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and remaining visible throughout the property. You will interact with residents and guests, providing exceptional customer service while upholding access control protocols. At Allied Universal, you'll join a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and a people-first approach, all while acting with integrity and working together to create a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Assist residents, visitors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies for access control at the location.
  • Monitor and manage entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or activity.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain detailed logs and reports of access control activities, incidents, and observations as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and / or violations.
  • Provide high-quality customer service while interacting with residents, visitors, and contractors at the access points.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Experience in customer service roles is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A valid state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • A valid guard card or security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
