Campus Manager

The Campus Manager plays a vital support role at the heart of the campus, balancing clear responsibilities with the flexibility to adapt. This role provides administrative support to the Campus Pastor and coordinates campus operations to ensure smooth day-to-day operations that align with church goals to foster a healthy, thriving environment for staff and congregants.

There are three primary purposes for the Campus Manager role :

  • Support the Campus Pastor.
  • Work closely with campus ministry and operations teams to ensure smooth and healthy day-to-day campus operations.
  • Facilitate clear communication and coordination between the campus and Central departments.

  • Principal Job Responsibilities :

    Administrative Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Campus Pastor, including calendar management and expense report preparation.
  • Serve as part of the Campus Lead Team.
  • Coordinate all weekend service details, including the service agenda and staffing needs.
  • Maintain the schedule for weekly campus team meetings, trainings, and events as needed.
  • Oversee the campus Social Media, ensuring timely and thorough communication.
  • Track and order office supplies as needed.
  • Manage the default campus email account.
  • Monitor and manage Clearstream texts for the campus.
  • Manage and update the campus Google Business listing.
  • Serve as point of contact for outside building requests, i.e. outside ministries, church tours, etc.
  • Collaborate with the Campus Pastor and Campus Lead Team to assess facility-wide building and property needs; prepare and submit the annual refresh list as directed.
  • Finance & Accounting Support

  • Budget : Manage the campus executive budget and assigned operations budgets; assist with budget preparation. Regularly review campus expenditures with the Campus Pastor for any areas of concern.
  • Annually input campus budget into Limelight based on guidelines provided by Accounting.
  • Act as the backup for the Next Steps Pastor in the weekend contribution process.
  • Be responsible for auditing and maintaining proper gift card storage along with maintaining distribution procedures.
  • Any claims for property loss, vehicle accidents, or accidental injury should be reported to Accounting immediately by the Campus Manager.
  • Campus Operations Management

    Event Coordinator Oversight Hold regular oversight meetings as needed.

  • Understand and champion the current Event Management Software.
  • Ensure Campus Event Coordinator is approving events in the current Event Management Software in a timely manner.
  • Partner with any other ministry the event coordinator supports, fostering a healthy relationship and workload.
  • Facilities Manager Oversight Hold regular oversight meetings as needed.
  • Maintain knowledge of the location of all campus emergency system shut-offs (water, electric, etc.).
  • Reception Oversight (if applicable) Oversee main campus phone line in collaboration with Campus Care Department.
  • Ensure office hours and holiday hours are kept up to date on campus phone lines.
  • Central Operations Departments

  • Safety Services Communicate regularly with the campus Lead Security Officer.
  • Maintain knowledge of campus emergency procedures (evacuations, emergency service calls).
  • Food & Beverage / Caf Understand the Food & Beverage standards.
  • Facilitate regular connection with the event coordinator and Food & Beverage Manager.
  • Information Technology Be the point of communication for major technical issues at your campus. This could include outages, major tech issues, major rollouts, annual refresh needs, as well as general feedback.
  • Work with IT to manage your campus's technology assets, including laptops, laptop refreshes, software licenses, and security compliance.
  • Communications Partner with Central Communications for major campus initiatives, monthly newsletters, weekend service details, conferences, major ministry events, and special services.
  • Logistics Understand and communicate with staff on interoffice mail transfers, logistics pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • Help the campus steward space and manage a sustainable furniture inventory total.
  • Property Management & Maintenance Point of contact for all office moves and furniture transitions.
  • Work with the Facilities Manager and Central leadership to be knowledgeable of county fire codes, OSHA regulations, and required certifications.
  • Human Resources Be informed on campus safety and liability concerns, and reporting protocols.
  • Annually distribute and post labor law posters at your campus.
  • Trained on Leave of Absence Triggers
  • Trained on Employee Relations Triggers
  • Work with HR to schedule manager / staff trainings.
  • Distribution of Ministry Licenses.
