What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential incidents and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal protocols.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents and / or emergencies.Remain alert and prepared to respond to a variety of situations that may arise within a government environment.What We're Looking For :

Have a minimum of 3 years combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.Must be at least 21 years of age.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
