As an Operations Coordinator, your position will be multi-faceted : 1) Operate mid-range to large-scale hospitality programs and special events including activities, room assignments, transportation, staffing, subcontractors and vendors; 2) assist in creating and reviewing event orders and schedule of events and confirm that all services are in order with respective transportation, hotel, and venue vendors; 3) prepare all rooming lists, run of show operations for the experiences and assist in operations as needed; 4) work closely with hotel, catering, venue and restaurant contacts to ensure successful events; 5) provide product and service information to assist customers with their travel experience questions and concerns; and 6) effectively communicate information through written correspondence and oral communication with clients, hotel / venue contacts as well as with internal team members.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A passion for delivering high standards in operational efficiencies
  • Success and experience managing past events
  • Must be organized and an independent thinker
  • Leadership Experience - someone that leads by example and strives in working in a team environment
  • Excellent Communicator with the knowledge on how to extract necessary information from customers, vendors and key stakeholders in order to deliver exceptional event experience.

Compensation & Perks

This position entails a base salary and healthcare benefits. Qualified candidates should expect to earn $50,000 - $60,000 in the first year + healthcare benefits.
