Data Quality Tester - Python

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Testing Engineer with strong Python scripting capabilities and hands-on experience in AWS services such as S3, Glue, RDS, and Lambda. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in ETL testing SQL procedures , and data validation , along with exposure to AI tools Docker / Kubernetes , and CI / CD pipelines

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute automated test scripts using Python (Pandas, PyTest, etc.) for data workflows and batch jobs.
• Perform data validation by writing and executing complex SQL queries.
• Test and validate AWS Glue jobs S3 buckets RDS DynamoDB , and Lambda functions
• Analyze data against mapping documents and debug issues to identify root causes.
• Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for ETL and database workflows.
• Conduct API and web service testing using tools like Swagger.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized testing environments.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate testing into CI / CD pipelines (TeamCity, Jenkins, Octopus).
• Leverage AI-based tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance test coverage and observability.
• Explore and apply low-code / no-code automation techniques for testing.
• Use Jira or similar tools to manage Agile testing processes.
