Job Title : Technical Delivery Manager

Location : Atlanta, GA 30336 (Hybrid)

Position : Contract-to-Perm (6 months)

About the Role

Are you a proven IT delivery leader who thrives in ambiguity and loves driving change? We are seeking a Technical Delivery Manager to spearhead our IT transformation from Waterfall to Agile. This is a critical, high-impact role responsible for overseeing all IT projects, establishing visibility, and implementing best practices across our organization.

You will lead Agile adoption, drive delivery excellence, and coordinate cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, engineers, and third-party vendors. If you are a strategic thinker, a hands-on influencer, and a badass at driving results, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Agile transformation as Scrum Master, including sprint planning, backlog management, and delivery oversight.
  • Own end-to-end IT project delivery, including SaaS product releases, ERP upgrades, and office IT buildouts.
  • Establish project visibility frameworks and a single source of truth for all IT initiatives.
  • Drive change control processes and enforce accountability across teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and guide technical teams without direct development responsibility.
  • Coordinate onshore, offshore, and remote teams (approx. 15 FTEs / contractors + 6 distributed resources).
  • Partner with development leads on DevOps, architecture, and technical execution.
  • Build a diverse, high-performing team culture and influence organizational change.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, and project progress to ensure timely delivery.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in IT delivery, project management, or technical program management.
  • Proven track record leading complex IT transformations including a Waterfall to Agile adoption.
  • Strong understanding of delivery frameworks, change control, and IT governance.
  • Experience managing multi-site projects, cloud initiatives, and third-party vendors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Cultural awareness and experience fostering diverse, inclusive teams.
  • Hands-on familiarity with SaaS platforms, ERP systems, and IT infrastructure projects.

  • Frontend & UI : Razor, Kendo UI, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular 12+
  • Cloud & Infrastructure : Azure, AWS
  • DevOps & CI / CD : Automated pipelines, version control systems, release management
  • Project Management / Collaboration : Agile / Scrum frameworks, Jira, Confluence (or similar tools)
