Cisaplast USA is seeking a reliable and detailed oriented Shipping-Packaging Associate to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that materials are received, products are prepared and packaged accurately, and shipments are completed efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts, using hand tools, and performing in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities :
- Operate a forklift to handle materials and finished products according to safety policies and procedures.
- Unload incoming materials. Inspect for visual damages and report any damages.
- Use a saw to cut lumber to specified dimensions for crate construction.
- Build custom shipping crates using nail and staple guns to secure products for transport.
- Verify products match order descriptions and shipping documentation.
- Serve as the last quality check point for damages and errors before the products leave the facility.
- Wrap frames and other items to protect them during shipping and handling.
- Accurately complete shipping labels, packing slips, and other required paperwork.
- Collaborate with internal departments on shipping / receiving requirements and issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Education Requirements :
High school diploma or GEDMinimum of 1 year experience working in a manufacturing, shipping, or carpentry environmentForklift certification or willingness to obtain certificationAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Ability to read and interpret work orders, blue prints, and measurementsAdditional Skills :
