Job Summary :

Under direct and indirect supervision, the Cleaner will perform a variety of janitorial duties in the care and maintenance of all applicable PPC buildings and facilities. Work involves routine janitorial functions including, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, washing walls and fixtures, sanitization of surfaces, and trash removal. Cleaner must exercise some independent judgment in completion of assigned tasks.

Regular work schedule will reflect Monday - Friday 5am - 2 : 30pm or Monday - Friday 2 : 30pm - 11pm.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $17.00 - $18.00 per hour. This is the reasonable estimate for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Pay could be more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.

You will make a difference in the following ways :

1. Clean and dust areas such as offices, kitchen / eating areas, lobbies, stairways, and corridors.

2. Dust, mop and wet mop floors.

3. Clean and maintain locker rooms and bathrooms in all facilities.

4. Refill toilet paper, paper towels, sanitary napkins, soap dispensers.

5. Clean hardware such as doors, woodwork, door handles, and water fountains.

6. Vacuum and spot clean rugs.

7. Remove and clean floor mats and entrance rug runners.

8. Maintain service rooms and storage areas in a clean orderly manner.

9. Maintain adequate supply of cleaning equipment, materials and supplies.

10. Use cleaning tools and equipment including, but not limited to : mop, broom, cleaning cloth, sponge, pail, brush, vacuum cleaner, and cardboard compactor.

11. Remove waste from trash cans and recycling containers.

12. Report all repairs that are required and safety and fire hazards to supervisor.

13. Understand and operate within safety standards and follows safety practices including wearing the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

What you bring :

• Education & Experience : High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge : Ability to follow and execute detailed processes / directions. Ability to work effectively in a team environment in a culturally diverse workplace. Ability to work independently and adhere to required tasks.
