Department : Boarding

Reports to : Overnight Supervisor

Job Purpose : You are an integral part of the Overnight Department, responsible for performing multiple roles with the highest level of professionalism. Your self-motivation to finish tasks and strong work ethic leave clients with a strong impression of Now Boarding.

What you will be doing :

Communication- Relay information to clients both in person and over the phone; inform Overnight Lead of any pet or client concerns.

Customer Service- Provide assistance to clients in a professional manner that creates a positive experience.

Maintenance - Maintain the cleanliness in pet, staff, and public areas of the building using a variety of cleaning products and disinfectants.

Organization- Manage multiple tasks at the same time in an accurate and timely manner.

Process Remember and follow detailed directions on policies and procedures as indicated by training and our SOP.

Support- Ensure safe handling of animals, and assist boarding with basic services.

Maintain a safe work environment by following NB protocols and policies. Work with NB team members in a positive and effective way to advance the mission of NB.

What we are looking for :

Experience Minimum of one year of customer service and custodial experience preferred

Decision Making- Ability to think on your feet and make informed and educated decisions as it pertains to the client or situation

Adaptability - Ability to work in a professional and positive manner with high attention to detail in a variety of situations.

Schedule - Regular, predictable attendance, punctuality and availability to work during operations hours as defined by management with the flexibility to work weekends, and holidays.

Physical & Emotional Capabilities Must be able to handle the physical and emotional aspect of work in an animal boarding environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Computer Skills - Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
