Job Title : Quality System Engineer
Type : Direct Hire
Location : Nationwide - Travel Required

Our client is seeking an experienced Quality Systems Engineer
Roles & Responsibilities
- Ensuring a safe work environment for all operations and tasks
- Advancing safe work initiatives to attain IIF goals through implementation and support of safety
actions goals established by the site : Engineering Safety Action Plan and other standards for
operations : Orientations, Activity Hazard Analysis, Job Safety Analysis, Near Miss Meetings,
preparatory and Initial phase meetings, etc.
Performing the duties of a CQC Manager as defined by the client specificationsDeveloping the project Quality Control Plan and Environmental Control PlanDeveloping other plans as required by the contract : i.e. Heavy lift plans, towing plans, pipelinecrossings, etc.
Ensuring all project activities to be consistent with GLDD best practices and contractspecifications
Ensuring the quality of submittals to the client, RMS 3.0Ensuring compliance with all contract plans, specifications and the execution of the projectQuality Control Plan and the Environmental Protection Plan in support of Project Management
Properly documenting any non-compliance issues in a timely manner and informing ProjectManagement
Documenting any issues that might require clarification or issues that may lead to a claimagainst the client
Preparing, attending, and taking minute minutes for all client meetingsConducting regular site visits to ensure equipment, supplies, and work products continue tomeet client specifications
Enumerating any non-conformities and apprising project managementRequirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited engineering program : Degrees in Civil Engineering, OceanEngineering or Construction Management are preferred
3-5+ years of experience within the marine construction, excavation, earthworks or waterresources fields, Marine Construction or dredging experience
Some of the ex-military members can be accepted, however they will need to have Army orFAFAC construction experience in the categories mentioned above
Working knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD, and the USACE Resident Management System RMSExcellent communication skills, written and verbalProficient computer skills : RMS 3.0, Primavera P6, Excel, Word, Adobe, AutoCADAbility to travel, must be able to work a rotation schedule of 17 days on and 11 days offMay occasionally lift and carry miscellaneous equipment, supplies, and parts generally weighing25 to 50 lbs
