Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician Locum Tenens - Champaign, IL

Ascend Medical Staffing is seeking a Board Certified / Board Eligible Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrician for a locum tenens opportunity in a regional medical center in Champaign, IL.

Opportunity Details

• Location : Regional Medical Center in Champaign, IL
• Schedule : One week per month, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM, with call coverage from 5 : 00 PM to 8 : 00 AM.
• Patient Volume : See approximately 5-10 patients per day in the clinic, with 2-5 NICU consults per week.
• Case Mix : The practice is a multispecialty group and hospital. Daily responsibilities include outpatient clinic work with a focus on new consults and some follow-up appointments.
• Patient Population : The patient mix is 90% pediatric and 10% adolescent.
• Support Staff : You will be part of a team that includes 2 MDs, 2 APPs, 2.5 RNs, 2 PSRs, and 2 CMAs / MAs.
• EMR : The facility uses Epic .
• Licensure : An active Illinois medical license is required.
• Credentialing : The credentialing process takes approximately 60 days.
• Compensation : We offer a competitive pay rate , along with covered expenses and occurrence form malpractice coverage.
