Title : Dental Assistant II / Patient Service Representative / Driver

Department : Dental Clinical Services

Status : Hourly

Location : Assigned Dental Clinic

Reports To : PSR Supervisor / Staff Dentist

Direct Reports : None

Summary of Position : A DA II must be able to perform all the minimum qualifications of the DA II job descriptions. The role of the DA II is a nonexempt position responsible for performing a variety of duties related to dental patient care directed by dental providers. They may be involved in both the clinical and administrative areas including assisting physicians with patient care and handling minimal clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks. Provides information to patients so they may fully utilize and benefit from the dental services.

Experience : Minimum one years’ experience.

Education : One academic year or longer in an ADA-accredited dental program

Licensure : Coronal polishing, radiographic certification, nitrous oxide sedation a plus . CDL training will be provided by the company.

Certifications : BLS / OSHA / HIPAA
