Account Executive

Headquartered in King of Prussia, PA, UHS has approximately 99,000 employees and continues to grow through its subsidiaries. The Crossings Healthcare Information Services Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Account Executive. The Account Executive identifies and closes sales opportunities for Crossings Healthcare. Completes market analysis, independently generates qualified opportunities, assists in sales presentations and closes out on new business. Upsells additional business into existing customers and assists with customer relationship management. Participates in product development as necessary and drives marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities include : Understanding and presenting Crossings products effectively. Coordinating territory planning and customer prospecting. Engaging with new customers, getting the "foot in the door". Managing new and existing relationships with key stakeholders across leadership level, clinical and I.T. leadership teams. Developing sales strategies for products when entering new markets. Meeting / exceeding pipeline generation and revenue targets. Managing short sales cycles, utilizing internal and external resources as appropriate. Managing customer relationships through social media and like solutions. Developing and managing a growing sales quota. Providing oversight and management to custom implementations sold as necessary. Managing existing accounts. Owning newsletters and other marketing avenues for upselling to existing customers. Maintaining service excellence principles. Preparing and promptly submitting client status reports. Preparing studies into markets. Driving product direction with feature and functionality requests. Keeping management well informed of activities, needs, problems. Performing other tasks as required by management.

Qualifications : Position requirements include a bachelor's degree plus 1-3 years of related experience. Demonstrated knowledge from selling products and / or services into healthcare markets. Experience selling into larger health systems. Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas. Strategic account planning and execution skills. Highly self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision. Excellent oral and written communication skills. At a minimum, generalist knowledge of healthcare software and usage in hospitals. Creativity, energy and the ability to work effectively within a growing team. Strong understanding of clinical workflow, physician relationships, hospital markets, and clinical software preferred. Experience working successfully in a rapidly changing environment preferred.

Travel requirements : Up to 10% travel.
