Travel Mammography Technologist Job Details

Location : Meridian, Idaho (Zip : 83642) – Idaho healthcare job

Facility : Breastcare Services – Mammography Unit

Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 17 / 2025 – End : 2 / 16 / 2026)

Shift : 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday (Guaranteed 40 hours / week)

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2030 - $2190

Employment Type : Travel Radiologic Technologist

Orientation : 2-3 unit-specific shifts plus general orientation

Scrub Color : Any color, clean and professional

Charting System : Epic (EMR), Change (PACS)

Mammography Technologist Qualifications

Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist or Radiologic Technologist

At least 1-2 previous travel healthcare contracts completed

Active ARRT certification (Radiologic Technologist)

ARRT Mammography certification required

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Strong proficiency with Hologic mammography equipment

Experience with Epic EMR and Change PACS preferred

Mammography Technologist Responsibilities

Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including 4D imaging and scans for implant patients and those with special needs

Conduct breast scans and assist with procedures using Hologic prone biopsy table and Bravera biopsy device

Deliver high standards of patient care and professionalism in a clinical setting

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of technologists and radiology staff

Ensure accurate documentation and image management in Epic EMR and PACS systems

Participate in department orientation and adhere to all safety and quality protocols
