Job Summary :

Affton Transport is currently looking to hire Class A CDL Drivers with a minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer experience. We are looking for local, regional and OTR drivers home daily and weekly. Hazmat and tanker preferred but not required will compensate for acquiring those endorsements. Responsibilities :

Safely operate a tractor-trailer vehicle in compliance with all traffic laws and regulations

Transport and deliver goods over long distances in a timely and efficient manner

Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

Maintain accurate driving and delivery logs

Report any issues or incidents to the dispatcher

Qualifications :

Valid Class A CDL license

Minimum of 1 year of tractor-trailer driving experience

Clean driving record

Knowledge of DOT regulations

Good communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
