Title : Senior Accountant

Salary : $75-100K base (depending on experience; negotiable)

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities :

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting

Oversee general ledger accuracy and completeness of financial data

Prepare and review financial statements for GAAP compliance

Support internal and external audits, tax filings, and survey reporting

Monitor inventory movements, analyze reserves, and manage capital expenditures

Submit sales / use tax data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Partner with the Controller to identify issues and implement process improvements

Collaborate across departments to research policies, solve problems, and provide recommendations

Senior Accountant Qualifications :

Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance, or Business

5+ years progressive accounting experience (close, reconciliations, internal controls, lease accounting, sales / use tax)

ERP / accounting system proficiency; advanced Excel / data tool skills

Food distribution, food service, or CPG industry background strongly preferred
