We are looking for an experienced Financial Project Manager to join our team on a long-term contract basis in New Orleans, Louisiana. In this role, you will oversee complex financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across various accounting and budgeting functions. This position offers an opportunity to work on dynamic projects involving multiple revenue streams and distribution processes.

Responsibilities :

• Lead full-cycle accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, inventory management, and month-end close processes.
• Prepare for audits by ensuring financial records are accurate, organized, and compliant with regulations.
• Develop and document procedures to streamline financial workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Reconcile accounts, clean up discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial data.
• Manage budgeting and financial planning activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Track financial data for ongoing projects, such as construction and distribution initiatives.
• Oversee revenue tracking across multiple streams, ensuring proper formulas and models are applied.
• Collaborate with teams to monitor inventory and distribution processes within warehouse operations.
• Utilize SAP Financials to manage and analyze financial data effectively.
• Extensive experience in financial management, including full-cycle accounting.
• Expertise in accounts payable / receivable processes and inventory management.
• Proficiency in preparing for audits and reconciling accounts.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close procedures and fiscal year-end processes.
• Familiarity with managing multiple revenue streams and financial models.
• Skilled in budgeting, financial planning, and data tracking for complex projects.
• Experience with SAP Financials and other financial systems.
• Ability to document and implement efficient financial processes.
