Working Capital Fund (WCF) Accounting Lead Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Working Capital Fund (WCF) Accounting Analyst  to provide expert financial management support to the SSC Enterprise Space Activity Group. The successful candidate will support the integrity, efficiency, and compliance of financial systems, reporting processes, and accounting operations within a dynamic WCF environment.

This position plays a critical role in reconciling financial data, developing reporting tools, and supporting system interfaces that underpin decision-making and mission readiness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and maintain FM accounting systems and ensure timely and accurate data entry and reporting.

Prepare and maintain monthly and quarterly accrual estimates to ensure accurate financial forecasting and reporting.

Reconcile invoice data against contracts and funding documentation to validate obligations and expenditures.

Analyze and maintain General Ledger Accounts (GLAs); evaluate posting logic and recommend configurations for new financial requirements.

Design, implement, and maintain financial reporting tools and systems that support leadership decision-making.

Support financial system interfaces between platforms such as FAMIS, ADVANA, and other enterprise business systems.

Collaborate with finance, acquisition, and program teams to ensure accurate alignment of funding, contracts, and deliverables.

Ensure compliance with DoD financial policies and Working Capital Fund management practices.

10+ years  of financial management experience within a Working Capital Fund (WCF)  environment,

OR 5+ years of experience combined with one of the following certifications :

Certified Defense Financial Manager (CDFM)

Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM)

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Demonstrated experience with accounting operations management and reconciliation processes.

Familiarity with DoD financial systems and reporting requirements.

Strong understanding of accrual accounting, ledger reconciliation, and financial analysis.

Proficiency in Excel and experience with enterprise financial systems and databases.

Active Secret Clearance  is required at the time of application.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with financial system interfaces such as FAMIS , ADVANA , and related DoD platforms.

Knowledge of DoD and Air Force financial policies and WCF-specific accounting principles.

Experience in federal or defense-related accounting environments supporting space or high-tech programs.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare clear financial summaries and reports

Location :  Space Coast, FL. or National Capital Region (NCR), VA.

Clearance Required :  Active Secret Clearance
