We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell MV-75 Valor Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA), part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort, and a next generation stop-fold tilt-rotor as part of the DARPA SPRINT program. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and designing upgrade kits for the legacy fleet.
Skills You Bring To this Role
Experience in embedded system development in areas such as : System architecture design, derivation of system, software, and component level requirements, design and development of system architecture, system redundancy management, fault management, crew alerting, flight management, aircraft autonomy, actuation (hydraulic or electric), and system integration, verification, and validation in desktop integrated lab environments, pilot in the loop simulated environments, and / or on flight test aircraft.
What you need to be successful
We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate. You'll need a Bachelor's degree, with a Major in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Computer Science being preferred. Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience. Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
