job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide day-to-day supervision and support to youth in a residential setting, ensuring a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. Assist with daily routines including hygiene, meals, household tasks, and recreational activities, while modeling positive behavior. Implement behavioral programming, teach coping strategies, and use trauma-informed care to support youth with emotional and behavioral challenges. Intervene in crises using verbal de-escalation and approved physical intervention techniques when necessary. Support the development of independent living skills, social skills, and emotional regulation through structured activities, coaching, and individualized support. Facilitate creative, educational, and recreational programming to promote personal growth. Maintain accurate documentation of youth behaviors, progress, and daily activities. High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Must be at least 21 years old. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated compassion and patience in working with youth. Valid driver's license. Must pass all required background checks. Preferred : First Aid / CPR / AED certification.
