Print Production & Customer Service Specialist

Location : Grand Copy Center – Oakland, CA

Employment Type : Full-Time or Part-Time

What You'll Do :

As a Print Production & Customer Service Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in both the front-end customer experience and back-end production operations.

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

Artwork Review & Prepress Setup :

  • Review client-submitted artwork to confirm correct dimensions, resolution, and bleed.
  • Resize or modify artwork as needed using Adobe Photoshop and / or Illustrator.
  • Prepare and program jobs on print production machines for digital output.

Client Interaction & Sales :

  • Greet and assist walk-in clients with warmth and professionalism.
  • Handle order pickups, process payments, and answer questions.
  • Answer incoming phone calls and support clients with basic order information.

    • Print Production & Finishing :

  • Operate printing and bindery equipment including laminators, cutters, folders, and other finishing machines.
  • Ensure all jobs are completed with accuracy, quality, and attention to deadlines.

    • Order Processing & Organization :

  • Manage online order intake and ensure jobs are organized, scheduled, and prepared for production or pickup.
  • Maintain a clean, efficient, and customer-friendly workspace.

    • What We're Looking For :

  • Prior experience in the printing industry (digital print production preferred).
  • Solid working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, especially for print setup tasks.
  • Strong math skills and the ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Dependable, proactive, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

    • Schedule & Availability :

  • Monday–Friday, 10 AM – 5 PM (occasional Saturdays as needed).
  • Full-time and part-time positions available.
