York Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is committed to being the leading provider of quality long-term care and related healthcare services. We are seeking a Director of Environmental Services (Housekeeping and Laundry)  to join our committed staff and provide exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities :

  • Conducts environmental facility rounds, ensures full compliance with standards of cleanliness.
  • Supervise staff, including training and performance evaluations.
  • Manage inventory of linen, supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
  • Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain cleanliness and infection control standards.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required.

    • Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Prior skilled long-term care or hospital experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years environmental services or housekeeping and laundry management and / or supervision experience.
  • Knowledge of Local, State and Federal regulations for long-term care and the survey process.
  • Possess effective team problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills

    • Interviews will be held Monday to Friday from 11am to 4pm.
