As the Controller, you will serve as a key financial leader, responsible for areas including :
- Strategic Oversight : Lead and manage all accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate reporting in compliance with GAAP .
- Process and System Optimization : Build and refine scalable processes, improve internal controls, and ensure overall operational efficiency.
- Compliance and Regulations : Oversee adherence to federal contracting regulations, including FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance, ensuring audit readiness and operational accuracy.
- Financial Leadership : Collaborate with executive leadership to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and financial strategy for long-term success.
- Team Development : Take the lead in developing a high-performing accounting team and create opportunities to expand and mentor staff as the company grows.

FAR, CAS, and DCAA compliance is a plus. Hands-on expertise with Dynamics 365 is strongly preferred.Educated in the Field : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. A CPA or equivalent credential is highly preferred.Operationally Focused : Proven success in optimizing accounting structures, implementing processes, and ensuring financial operational success in compliance-heavy environments.Collaborative Leader : A forward-thinking individual who thrives in fast-paced settings and is excited to work in a highly collaborative environment.Clearance : You must be able to get your TS / SCI with Polygraph clearance and preference will be given to candidates who already have an active clearanceAudit experience : Public Accounting preferred not required
