Schedule : Monday–Friday | 1st Shift, 7 AM – 4 PM (9x80 Schedule)

Contract Type : Full-Time, 12-Month Consultant

Starting Pay Range : 39.78 / hour

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a global leader in aerospace technology to seek a Manufacturing Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. In this role, you’ll help transform cutting-edge designs into real-world aerospace systems that define the future of flight and defense. Your work will directly support the production of mission-critical components while driving efficiency, quality, and innovation on the manufacturing floor.

What You’ll Do

Design and optimize manufacturing processes, procedures, and layouts for complex assemblies and machining operations.

Develop and document production sequences, equipment specifications, and inspection / test requirements.

Support process control and continuous improvement initiatives through root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Update and maintain Manufacturing Bills of Material (MBOM) to meet production and engineering requirements.

Develop clear and precise visual work instructions using Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure designs align with production capabilities and regulatory standards.

Provide hands-on support to resolve issues on the production floor and conduct peer reviews.

What You’ll Bring

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or in a similar production environment.

Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Proficiency in CATIA, SAP, and Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) processes.

Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and / or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies : 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience developing visual work instructions and process documentation.

Familiarity with statistical process control methods.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and deadlines.

Demonstrated problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to challenges.

Pay Details : 39.78 per hour
