The Prince George's County Planning Department provides land use planning for the physical development of Prince George's County, Maryland. As the second most populous county in Maryland, Prince George's has a population of approximately 900,000 residents with 15 Metro Rail Stations and is home to The University of Maryland at College Park, WMATA Headquarters, UMD Capital Region Medical Center, NASA Goddard Space Flight Center, and Joint Base Andrews. Prince George's County is also home to National Harbor.

Class Specification : Parks / Facilities Maintenance Worker NOTE : This position is Union-represented. Working Conditions : Primarily work inside, but may work outside on occasion or as assigned. May work weekends, evenings and holidays. Occasionally exposed to inclement weather. Ability to occasionally lift up to 100 pounds and regularly up to 50 pounds. May be subject to various job demands such as high volume of work and tight deadlines.
The M-NCPPC offers a competitive annual salary range of $33,896 to $63,064 (salary is commensurate with education and experience) at the Facilities / Events Maintenance Worker level with excellent benefits including generous leave, extensive health coverage, deferred compensation plan, and employee pension plan.
The Prince George's County Planning Department is conveniently located in Largo, Maryland, near Metro and I-495. Core hours are 8 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm daily but may be adjusted to meet the needs of the Department.
