We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join our thriving construction company. This is an unparalleled opportunity for an individual with a strong background in mechanical and plumbing knowledge, commercial construction, and project management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading teams, managing contracts, and controlling costs in a fast-paced, dynamic construction environment.

Responsibilities :

As a Mechanical Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and delivery of our commercial construction projects.

  • Lead the planning and implementation of project from inception to completion.
  • Apply mechanical and plumbing knowledge to oversee all aspects of the construction process.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
  • Manage contracts and negotiate with subcontractors, vendors, and partners.
  • Ensure construction safety protocols are adhered to at all times.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and designs.
  • Utilize Microsoft Project and other project management tools to track progress and report on project status.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage project teams to deliver high-quality construction projects.
  • Engage in strategic planning to ensure project success and company growth.
  • Work closely with design-build teams to ensure project specifications are met.

Qualifications :

To be considered for this exciting role, you will need :

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on mechanical project management.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems in commercial construction.
  • Proven experience in budgeting, contract management, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project management tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with a record of leading successful project teams.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and partners.
  • Experience in strategic planning and the ability to contribute to the company's growth strategy.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and designs.
  • A strong commitment to construction safety and knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Experience with the design-build process in the construction industry.
