Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with homeowners, utility companies, and municipal offices. Grand Bay Electric is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Electrical and Plumbing Project Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling, permitting, and coordinating a variety of complex electrical and plumbing projects across the state of Michigan. Your ability to manage multiple moving parts, collaborate with utilities, and ensure smooth project execution will be essential to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Project Scheduling :
Schedule and coordinate installation dates for electrical and plumbing projects, including but not limited to :
Electrical service upgrades
Apply for electrical, plumbing, and mechanical permits through various Michigan municipalities using online portals, mail, and email.
Schedule and confirm electrical, plumbing, and mechanical inspections in accordance with project timelines.
Collaborate with electric utility companies to arrange temporary power disconnects and reconnects for service and panel upgrades.
