Description : Focus / Objective
The Thermoforming Operator supports daily plant operations by safely and efficiently operating thermoforming equipment, mentoring fellow operators, and ensuring production, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Operate one or two thermoforming machines under minimal supervision.
- Adjust machine components to regulate speeds, pressures, and temperatures, dimensions, and material flow.
- Monitors machine performance responds to alarms and malfunctions and perform advance troubleshooting.
- Conduct machine adjustments (air pressure, vacuum, coolant flow, synchronization, etc.) to ensure proper operation.
- Load raw materials, remove finished products, and deliver pallets to designated areas.
- Achieve daily production output goals within established deadlines.
- Enter daily utilization data into plant PCM and complete required paperwork (logs, condition sheets, checklists, locator cards).
- Perform and / or assist with preventive maintenance, cleaning, and machine adjustments.
- Mentor and support new operators during onboarding; provide direction to inspector-packers as needed.
- Notify supervisor immediately of any processing or maintenance issues.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with special projects as assigned.

HS Diploma / GED12 to 24 months of experience as a Forming Machine Operator or related experienceSuccessfully completed all requirements from the respective Forming Operator Check sheetAbility to perform general to advanced machine maintenanceAble to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentExperience or ability in mentoring and trainingSelf-directed and independent with strong communication skillsEducation and Experience :
