Obstetrics Physician

Position Overview A locum Board-Certified OBGYN is needed at a critical access hospital in Minnesota to provide clinic coverage and 24-hour call . Providers will manage deliveries, surgical cases, and ED consults. The biggest coverage need is weekend call from Friday 4 : 30 PM through Tuesday 8 : 00 AM , though 1-2 weeks per month of clinic and call coverage are available. Estimated weekly gross pay ranges from $18,000-$22,000 , placing this role in the Top 10% of OBGYN locums nationally . Assignment Highlights Schedule : Clinic : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM Friday Night Call : 4 : 30 PM - 4 : 30 AM (pager-based) Weekend 24-Hour Call : Saturday & Sunday (in-house pager) Blocks : 1-2 weeks per month, ideally 2-5 shifts per block Setting : Hospital & outpatient clinic Annual Volume : 300-320 labors per year (low acuity) Procedures Required : C-sections, D&Cs, laparoscopic tubal ligations, ectopics, other general OBGYN surgeries Support Staff : 24 / 7 General Surgery, Pediatrics, and Tele-Neonatology EMR : Epic Overtime / Holiday : 1.5x hourly rate Prepaid travel / lodging provided Malpractice insurance covered by HPA Healthcare HPA Healthcare is a Joint Commission-certified agency Skills & Experience Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics / Gynecology Active Minnesota license required Competent in deliveries, surgical procedures, and gynecologic emergencies Epic EMR experience preferred Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
