Our partner is seeking a Mailroom Operations Lead in Columbus, OH .
This position is responsible for providing leadership and training to inbound and outbound mailroom associates. The role involves coordinating production workflow, monitoring quality, and providing feedback to drive continuous improvement. The Mailroom Operations Lead also identifies trends and errors, reviews exceptions, tests new account and system changes, and communicates issues with management and other departments. This position serves as a backup to the supervisor during absences.
Responsibilities
- Perform all job functions within mailroom operations.
- Respond to employee questions regarding workflow and procedures.
- Provide backup support during team absences or vacations.
- Assist the department with assigned tasks during normal operations.
- Conduct random quality control inspections.
- Monitor production and distribute quality reports. Recommend process and quality improvements.
- Follow production schedules to ensure accurate processing of customer accounts.
- Notify management of any exceptions or irregularities.
- Distribute and assist with operational procedure updates.
- Provide hands-on training to shift employees.
- Perform all responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Work overtime as required by management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
Associate’s degree in business administration or equivalent experience.Previous experience coaching or training staff members.Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to analyze workflow and develop effective solutions.Capable of working independently with a positive and proactive approach.Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in using computer software tools for data management and reporting.Ability to train and support team members effectively.Mechanical aptitude.
