Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist / Mill operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various materials. The CNC Machinist will ensure that all products meet quality standards and specifications. Must be able to speak and read English proficiently.

Duties

  • Set up and operate CNC lathe to manufacture parts according to specifications
  • Set up and operate CNC Mill to manufacture parts according to specifications
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges
  • Conduct regular maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Proficient in CNC operation
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing processes
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations related to machining tasks
  • Experience with tooling setup and adjustment for various machining operations
  • Previous experience operating forklifts is an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to edit programs as needed at the machine
  • Knowledge of offline programing software is an advantage Gibbs Cam / Shop Talk

    Job Type : Full-time (M-F 7 : 00am - 3 : 30pm)

    Pay : Up to $25.00 per hour for the right candidate
