DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Process new admissions : facilitate a Quell shower, search belongings, sign client into admissions book, log book, FYI, roll call report, and complete intake paperwork.
- Check log book for incidents, document census, and admissions, and communicate with afternoon and midnight shifts.
- Make sure all messages and mail (client and staff), are distributed.
- Monitor building inside and outside also; e.g. checking to ensure that all doors and parking lot gates (midnight shift) are locked. Log any incident in the log book and FYI and complete the incident report.
- Verify / sign in all clients returning from the pass. Complete designated shift roll calls for all clients
- Monitor self-administered medication at proper times and log accordingly.
- If the client doesn't return from pass, enter into FYI and write up the discharge report - Contact the primary counselor and clinical supervisor
- Clear all floors for services per clinical schedule
- Monitor House GI (complete cleaning session)
- Facilitate monthly and random urinalysis testing and room searches.
- Monitor supervised recreation, and blacktop, facilitate and monitor all smoke breaks.
- Inspect and distribute all packages entering the facility
- Inspect all passes for the correct date, time, and signatures.
- Complete an incident report on situations that are outside the realm of acceptable behavior according to EHi rules and regulations.
- Disburse mail to clients after it has been logged in at administration.
- Copy when needed; keep all pertinent forms up to date as necessary
- Coordinate clients' money withdrawals twice weekly.
- Facilitate orientation weekly
- Clean Central Office during downtime i.e. during group & didactic - All shifts
- Facilitate orientation weekly
- Other duties as assigned and deemed necessary
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Must have a GED or high school diploma. Some college preferred.Must be able to handle a crisis situation calmly and collectively.Must have good organizational skills and be able to handle large volumes of work and various tasks simultaneously.If in recovery, must have (5) years of continuous sobriety and abstinence.Must have no current case open with the Department of Corrections.Must possess a current driver's license and auto insurance.Must be able to pass LEIN check.
