Activities Director / Life Enrichment Coordinator

The Waterford is looking for a compassionate, energetic, and creative Life Enrichment Coordinator to lead engaging programs and activities for our residents residing in our Memory Care facility. This is your opportunity to create joyful experiences and help our seniors live life to the fullest—socially, spiritually, emotionally, and intellectually.

• ? Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement activity programs that enhance residents' quality of life

Create personalized life enrichment care plans based on resident interests and abilities

Organize group outings, events, and social gatherings

Promote participation and encourage resident feedback

Collaborate with staff and leadership to coordinate calendars and activities

Drive facility vans for outings (must meet driver requirements)

Track participation and maintain accurate records

Follow all safety, emergency, and infection control procedures

• ?️ What You'll Need :

High School diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred

Experience in senior living or leading activity programs is a plus

Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

CPR / First Aid certification preferred (can be completed after hire)

Valid Nebraska Driver’s License and auto insurance

A sincere desire to work with the aging population

• ? Physical & Work Requirements :

Moderate physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Must be mobile throughout the facility

Ability to assist residents with walking and mobility

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors
