We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Permanent HVAC Lead Foreman to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional with a strong background in HVAC systems and construction. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supervising and coordinating the work of HVAC technicians on various construction projects. This is a critical role that requires excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

As our HVAC Lead Foreman, you will :

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of HVAC technicians in installing and maintaining HVAC systems on various construction projects.
  • Review blueprints and job specifications to determine the type and amount of materials required for each project.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety standards and regulations are met.
  • Train and mentor junior HVAC technicians, fostering a positive learning environment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC related issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other construction professionals to plan and execute projects.
  • Ensure all installations are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Manage inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and associated work costs.
  • Handle any escalated customer service issues related to HVAC installation or maintenance.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair in a construction environment.
  • Previous experience in a lead or supervisory role is required.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance procedures.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical specifications.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work within budget constraints.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • HVAC certification is preferred.
  • Must be able to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
