We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Jr. Accounting & HR Generalist to begin an exciting journey with our finance and operations team. This onsite position offers a fantastic opportunity to learn and contribute across two vital business functions. Roughly 70% of your time will be spent assisting with leasing-related financial operations, providing a solid foundation in accounting principles. The remaining 30% will involve supporting our recruitment and onboarding efforts, giving you valuable exposure to HR best practices. This role is perfect for someone with a foundational understanding of accounting who is eager to expand their skills, embrace new challenges, and contribute to a supportive, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist with monthly lease invoicing and support timely, accurate billing processes.
- Help with intercompany deferrals and multi-entity financial entries under guidance.
- Support the preparation of sales tax payables and filings across various jurisdictions.
- Aid in the reconciliation of lease revenue and related accounts during month-end close.
- Collaborate with internal departments on inventory tracking and lease transitions documentation.
- Maintain and organize documentation related to leases, equipment assets, and billing schedules.
- Provide administrative support for financial audits and general ledger accuracy initiatives.
- Schedule candidate interviews and assist with general candidate communications.
- Help with job postings, basic candidate screening, and updating applicant tracking records.
- Support new hire onboarding sessions, orientation activities, and required documentation.
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date employee records and preparing for offboarding logistics.
- Help coordinate internal communications and scheduling for team meetings.
- Provide general administrative support for various HR and culture-building efforts.
Recommended Qualifications :
1-2 years of experience in an administrative, accounting support, or office role OR a relevant Associate's degree.Basic familiarity with invoicing concepts or general ledger entries.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (basic data entry, simple formulas).Eagerness to learn and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications :
