Overview : Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Qualifications :

• Education : High School Diploma 18 years of age or older
• Licensure : Valid State drivers license
• Valid local, state or federal Public Safety / Security licensure as required (within 30 days of hire)
• Certification / Registration : Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety / Security course within 90 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure)
• Officers in areas where there isn't a licensing body, Completed IAHSS Basic.
• Other Skills and Knowledge : Ability to read and write the English language
• Preferred Qualifications :
• Education : College degree
• Licensure : Valid local, state or federal Public Safety / Security licensure as required
• Experience : Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
