Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Reno, NV 89502 (Nevada healthcare jobs) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 1 / 3 / 2026) Unit : Medical Surgical Ortho-Spine (38 private beds) Shift : 3x12 hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Employment Type : Travel RN, W2 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680 - $1800 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Nevada RN license (required prior to start) BLS certification (AHA required) Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience Ortho nursing experience strongly preferred Ability to float to other clinical units within competency Willingness to work weekends and major holidays as scheduled Med / Surg Ortho-Spine RN Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Ortho-Spine Med / Surg unit Care for patients undergoing total joint replacements, ortho-spine surgeries, elective cervical / lumbar / thoracic surgeries, fractures, trauma, limb preservation, wound care, and medical overflow Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate optimal patient outcomes Demonstrate adaptability in a Level II Trauma Center environment, serving a diverse patient population Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of clinical care Participate in holiday and weekend coverage as required Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Reno, Nevada!
