Marketing Manager | Champaign Public Library
HOURS : Full-time (38 hours per week), exempt. The regular schedule is 8 : 30 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to attend evening and weekend events as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead efforts to promote and raise awareness of the resources and services offered at the two-branch library system.
- Create print and digital materials, coordinate public relations activities, and manage the Library’s virtual and social channels.
- Collaborate with departments as part of the Library’s management team to create a positive impact in a welcoming environment for customers and staff.
- Contribute creatively to community service through marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or a related field requiredTwo years of experience using graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) requiredTwo years of experience in marketing or publicity requiredExperience using website design software requiredSome knowledge of Spanish and / or French is helpfulAny equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities$75,055 – $95,831 annually
