Warehouse / Recycling Operations Associate

Adecco is currently assisting a local customer in their search for Warehouse / Recycling Operations Associate positions in Valhalla, NY. Shift : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (Willingness to work overtime is required)

Pay : $23.00 / hr

Responsibilities

  • Operate mechanical recycling equipment per established procedure, perform daily cleaning, and maintain accurate records of all recycling operations.
  • Deliver and transfer items between sites' buildings using the site truck (or other site vehicles) in a safe manner, including securing and unloading vehicle contents.
  • Support the Warehouse team by loading / unloading incoming / outgoing shipments, performing trailer and shipment inspections, and providing backup for the Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
  • Perform heavy physical work, including repeatedly lifting cases from 20 to 50 pounds and pushing / pulling forces from 40 to 150 pounds, while adhering to all safety and GMP processes.

Requirements

  • Must have a current driver's license (Non-CDL) with a good driving record; previous truck driving experience is a plus.
  • Willingness to work overtime (8-to-9-hour shifts) and occasional weekend work as required.
  • Ability to operate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) and required to wear mandatory steel toe shoes and other safety attire (hairnets, glasses).
  • Must be proactive, reliable, self-motivated, a team player, and adapt quickly to change; basic computer skills and the ability to learn specialized tracking software required.
