Social Media Growth Lead (Minneapolis)

Propellant is a rapidly growing digital marketing agency based in NE Minneapolis, working across industrial, creative, and climate-focused brands. We build content engines for clients and ourselves, everything from manufacturer campaigns to original short-form series about the future of the planet.

Were looking for a Social Media Growth Lead who lives and breathes the short-form world and knows what it takes to actually win there. Youll help us manage and grow multiple social channels across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, and Threads , supporting both client work and internal creative projects.

This is a freelance, 1520 hr / week role at $25 / hr , with a flexible schedule but an expectation to join us in our NE Minneapolis office once a week to talk strategy, performance, and ideas. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing social media channels and accelerating existing accounts through strategic content planning, platform-specific optimization, and understanding of current trends and algorithms.

What youll do

• Create titles, descriptions, and upload, short-form videos across multiple platforms
• Schedule, track performance, spot trends, and help shape growth strategy
• Manage comments and community engagement (we like real humans here)
• Create or assist with thumbnails and light social graphics
• Collaborate with our creative and production teams to test ideas and scale what works
