As a Security Officer - Media Campus Unarmed in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong and visible presence. This position requires driving responsibilities, allowing you to respond promptly across the site and support the overall environment. You will interact with a diverse community, provide outstanding customer service, and communicate clearly with all stakeholders. Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeSat05 : 30 AM - 06 : 00 PMSun05 : 30 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related incidents and maintain a visible presence.
  • Monitor premises for unusual activity, reporting any concerns or observations as required by Allied Universal protocols.
  • Support access control procedures by observing and reporting on the movement of people and / or vehicles within the location.
  • Communicate professionally with team members, visitors, and staff, delivering a high standard of service in a tech, media, and telecom environment.
  • Follow Allied Universal's guidelines and the specific requirements of the location while on patrol and during all assigned tasks.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
