WHAT YOU'LL DO
The purpose of the Assembly Technician is to assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measuring tools.Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.Verify specifications by measuring completed components.Resolve assembly problems by adjusting dimensions to meet specifications; notify supervisor for additional resources. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following procedures, rules, and regulations.Manage supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needs, and placing orders.Use resources efficiently to accomplish job results.Document actions by completing production and quality forms.Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.Perform cross-training and other duties as required.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work independently without supervision.Ability to access and use the in-store computer, scanning system, and wireless handheld device.Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.WHO WILL SUCCEED
